Our Services
The Barrio Logan Association (BLA) is a city sanctioned nonprofit organization that serves as the operational and managing party in partnership with the City of San Diego for the Barrio Logan Maintenance Assessment District (BL MAD) as well as management of the Barrio Logan Cultural District under official designation by the California Arts Council.
The Barrio Logan Association services the public right-of-ways within the MAD district boundaries. Please find a map of our district boundaries below. Please note that we do not service private property, alleyways, and other governmental properties such as Parks and Rec, Caltrans, etc.
The BLA Maintenance crew operates Monday through Friday with exception of holidays.
Clean Sidewalks
Blowing, sweeping, and litter and tree debris abatement and removal from sidewalks and gutters.
Weed abatement and landscaping
Removal of weeds from sidewalks, sidewalks cracks, gutters, and light landscaping.
Trash pick-up
Emptying of trash cans within the district boundaries. Removal of bulky items exception of mattresses, electronics, tires, hazardous waste and appliances. (Please report those items to the city with the "Get It Done App").
Graffiti, sticker, and poster removal
Removal of graffiti, stickers, and posters from public property such as electrical boxes, light posts, signage, etc. Upon request and approval from property owners we may remove graffiti from visible street facing private property walls.
Beautification projects
